Nexxt chapter on my around the world journey!!!
After a couple of chillin' days (swimming and playing guitar at the pool of the hostel), a nice trip to the Lightfield national park and the world famous night market at the beach, it was time to go.
Ozzie was cool and I had a really good time (too ezy) but new adventures were waiting at the horizon...
In the plane I met some other crazy Dutchies (at least I'm not the only one, hehehe) with who we set off for Kuta, after landing in Denpasar. I've been on Bali a couple of years ago, with the school field trip, so I was really looking formard of coming here again!!! Especially since I was there before the Bali bombardments, I was curious if things had changed.
It was soooo cool walking here again after all that time. The smell when you come of the plane is imediately placing you in Asia. I had some Kretek (Inodnesian sigarets), nasi goreng with heaps of fresh sambal (of one of the street vendors) and ofcourse a Bintang beer in the main street Legian.
This morning, after another nasi goreng, this time for for breakfast, we went to Kuta beach. I tried to wave surf for the first time in my life, which was a bigggggg succes, hahahaha. Had a tipical massage for a hour and enjoyed the Indonesian atomosfere. I had to dug up my vocab of Indonesian phrases.
Tomorrow we want to rent some motorbikes (yeah mom, I'll be careful!!!) and to visit some of the place that made such a big impression on me the first time I was here.
The plans so far are to go to Java and Sumatra (and maybe Sulawesi) before heading of to Malaysia and up. Keep y'all posted!!!

Tim jongen waar doe je het toch allemaal van....ik ben echt mega jaloers op je, wat een leven....en dat leven had ik tot voor kort ook :-( maar goed de pegels moeten ook weer verdiend worden.
Kuta...jeetje dat je daar zo wild over bent, ik vond het zelf een beetje vies de mensen irritant, heel anders dan Thailand. Maar desalniettemin een prachtig eiland, tipje...ga raften! Dat was echt super en zo zie je ook wat lokale dorpjes verscholen in de rimboe, echt heel gaaf.

Tja, wat kan ik hier nog aan toevoegen? Fantastisch dat je het zo naar je zin hebt en zo enorm van alles kunt genieten, vent! Ben heel erg blij voor je. Geniet er ook maar van, want voor je het weet ben je weer terug in het Hollandse.... bzzrrttt...
En voor jou ook Banyak cinta, ciuman, geen idee wat het betekent, maar het zal vast wel iets leuks zijn. Dikke KUS!!
