New country new experiences and ofcoursenew adventures!!!
Egypt promises to be very different from what we've experienced the last couple of weeks in Dark Africa. Although we've just arrived that conclusion is obvious.
The last days in Kenya (we had to fill in a couple of days before the flight to Cairo) where better than expected. We decided to leave Nairobi, cause it's just anoterbig city and pay a isit to one of the lake's in the west. On our way to the 'mini bus area' to catch one to Naivasha lake, we found out that Nirobi in the contrary was a very nice city, where you can easily spend a couple of hours.
The lake was amazing, we stayed on a (very nice) campsite in a tent(!) where at night (9 o'clock) the hippo's came out to feed o he the grass NEXT to the campside... awesome creatures.
We decided to rent mountns bikes and do a day of bikin in Hell's Gate national park, no knowing that ir was a poper Safari park, full with animals. You can imagine our surprise!!! We drove on our bike's (like true Dutchies) right next to zebra's, warthogs, babboons, empala's, giraffe's and buffalo's. We even saw some prints of big cats and swear we heard a big cat sound, while we've biking throught a foresty area, pretty exiting cause there were leopards and cheetahs. All in all a more than expected nice time!!!
Now I am going to try my seesha (waterpipe) and hit bed, after almost no sleep last night due to the unpractical flying time... Big day a head with the visit of one of the 7 World Wonders.

halve zolen, op jullie tweewielers door het oerwoud te crossen...met al die (ook nog wilde) dieren om je heen... 't is maar goed dat ik niet alles (en zoveeel meer) weet, want anders.... sliep ik ook niet zo goed, denk ik.
Morgen een van de 7 wereldwonderen bekijken. Welke?
