I´ll think that I´m not getting around it... Have to start writing in english now, since there are some fellow travellers that want to read this aswel.
No pienso que es necesario para escribir este en español... pero nunca sabrá.
This weekend I´ve taken it a bit easy... It´s been kinda exhausting last week. Taking spanish- and salsa classes everyday, helping out with Edwin (been teaching some english to a local girl aswel!) and participating in the backpacker social life... It´s pretty rough out here!!!
Yesterday though, in order not to completely waste the weekend, Chris (a fellow Dutchie backpacker, red.) and I decided to climb the Pacaya volcan. After an hour (or so) climb, we could see (and feel the heat of) the lava.
It was pretty impressive beeing so close to that red hot stuff, I can tell ya!!!
Spanish is going better and better and so are my dancing skills... I´ll rule in salsa in a while!!!
Next week: probably up to San Pedro (next to lake Atitlan) for the weekend. Heard amazing stories about it and I can visit Arjan Beurkens (old fraternity member) whom I accidentaly run into a few days ago. Life can be strange!!!

Well, it seems to be very heftig and gezellig over there!! As usual you're living like a speedy-gonsalez, so, if you are a 'little bit' exhausted, I am not suprised at all. I really cannot imagine my son to be bored ........ anywhere or whenever. I am impressed by your spanish vocabulary, so go on studying and practicing, boy, grap the lowest out of the can (Dutch expression, red.)
You better rule in Salsa in a while, cause Betty is your competitive in Uglytown-Harbour!! (Only for insiders.) So, I'm thinking of you and receive my hugs!! Kiss, MOM. -

Hola guapo! Long time no speak. Ik mag toch wel gewoon in Nederlands lullen he. Niet dat ik zo superveel te vertellen heb, ma ik wilde gewoon ff zeggen dat ik het supertof vind wat je nu doet!! Genieten he!
